What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some sites use them to remember preferences; others use them to track you across the web.
Do we use cookies?
No. This site does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only things we remember are stored in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us:
| Key | Stored in | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| kq-theme | Local storage | Remembers your light / dark theme choice. |
| kq-accent | Local storage | Remembers your accent-colour preference. |
Analytics
Any traffic measurement we use is cookieless and aggregate-only — page-view counts with no cookies, no cross-site identifiers, and no personally identifiable information.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No social-media share trackers.
Controlling what's stored
You can clear your browser's local storage at any time from your browser settings. If you clear it, the site simply forgets your theme and accent preferences on your next visit.
