About · V Innovation Pvt Ltd

A platform for India's quantum-safe decade

KavachQ — from kavach, the Sanskrit word for armour — is the flagship quantum-safe migration platform from V Innovation Pvt Ltd. We help Indian enterprises and Critical Information Infrastructure operators move to post-quantum cryptography ahead of the NQM Task Force deadlines.

Why KavachQ exists

In May 2026 the Department of Science & Technology, under the National Quantum Mission, published the Task Force report Quantum-Safe Ecosystem in India — Roadmap to Quantum Resiliency. It sets out advisory migration targets: Critical Information Infrastructure is recommended to achieve full PQC adoption by 2029; other enterprises by 2033. The roadmap is advisory — enforcement rests with the sector regulators (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, CERT-In).

Most organisations have neither a crypto inventory, an executive owner, nor a credible migration plan. The gap between intent and execution is exactly where KavachQ sits.

What we do

  • KavachQ Platform — cryptographic discovery (SBOM and CBOM), quantum risk scoring, migration planning, and reporting aligned to the DST L1–L4 assurance framework.
  • Migration advisory — phased planning, vendor assessment, and PoC design for CII and large enterprise.
  • Sector cohorts — facilitated working groups for CISOs, formed by application.
  • Editorial platform — this site — tracking India's roadmap, the global timeline, NIST algorithms, and the research ecosystem.

Editorial stance

The public-facing platform is independent and vendor-neutral. Where we summarise official reports — particularly the DST Task Force document and NIST publications — we say so plainly. Inclusion of any company, lab, or jurisdiction in our directories is editorial; we do not accept payment for placement.

Standards we align with

  • NIST FIPS 203 (ML-KEM), FIPS 204 (ML-DSA), FIPS 205 (SLH-DSA), draft FIPS 206 (FN-DSA), and the March 2025 selection of HQC.
  • DST Task Force migration milestones (CII 2027/28/29 · Enterprise 2028/30/33) and the four-level assurance framework (L1–L4).
  • NQM Hub–Spoke–Spike research model and the four Thematic Hubs.
  • IETF hybrid key-exchange drafts and PQC migration RFCs.
  • BIS / STQC / TEC / CERT-In / NCCS for testing, certification, and assurance.

How we work

V Innovation is a specialist team with backgrounds across cryptography, telecom, public policy, and enterprise security. We engage with the labs and companies we cover directly, and we contribute to the public discussion through workshops and cohorts.

India has published a clear quantum-readiness roadmap. KavachQ exists to help organisations meet its targets — with rigour, not noise.
